HARRY JUDD (drums)

Harry Mark Christopher Judd was born on the 23rd of December, 1985. He is originally from Chelmsford, Essex in England, but is residing somewhere in London, England. Harry became involved with McFLY at the age of 17 and is the band drummer. Rarely does Harry contribute to lyric writing, but he is said to help write some and sing a tiny bit in the album, Radio:Active.

Drumming and a rock star dream wasn't with Harry since birth, or even since childhood. Harry was just a boy attending prep school and playing cricket. He tried at the guitar when he was young but found it to theoretical. There was always a certain way to play it. It wasn't until the age of 16 that Harry started to explore the drums.
A drummer was needed in one of his
friends bands and Harry decided to play around in the position. The diversity caught his interest, and he started to become more active involved with the drums.
And soon enough, it became an obsession.

Harry idolizes, drummer, Travis Barker from Blink-182. He also enjoys listening to The Used, Incubus, Dashboard confessional, Stone Sour, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and My Chemical Romance.

With only two years of drumming experience, Harry headed to London to audition for the drummer role in McFLY. Coincidently, future band mate, Dougie Poynter, was also auditioning for a part in McFLY on the same day and time as Harry. The two got talking because of Harry's apparel. His shirt supported the band, The Starting Line; a band that Dougie like also. So, their musical taste brought the two together, and later on, both of their passes into McFLY kept them together since.

Harry's commitment to the band seems just as strong as the rest of the members. Currently, he continues to play and record new music. Harry has said in a few interviews that he would like to be in McFLY for many years to come.

Personal Facts About Harry:
He has been intimately tied with Lindsay Lohan.
Members of Elliot Minor and former band Busted attended Harry's school along side of him.
He had (has?) pet chickens.
In school, he was good in Art.
